CORONA VIRUS UPDATE: Here at Gordon’s Corner Water Company, we realize that during the pandemic, some of our customers have had financial difficulty keeping up with their utility bills. We want our customers to be aware that Governor Murphy signed S-4081, extending the utility shutoff grace period established under Executive Order No. 246 from December 31, 2021, to March 15, 2022, for all water, municipal electric, and sewer customers.
We have made an effort over the past two years to reach out to our customers that have fallen behind on their water bills and continue to encourage them to contact our office to discuss their account. We can offer a payment arrangement to get your account back on track. Contact our office if you would like to set up a payment arrangement prior to shut off. On August 4, 2021, Govenor Murphy signed into law S3691/A5685, legislation which will provide assistance to New Jersy residents. Please visit the NJ Department of Community Affairs at www.nj.gov/dca/dcaid for more information. To avoid shut off, you must be registered with the state for aid or arrange for a payment plan with our Company prior to shut off.
Our office is open to the public. We are accepting payments of cash, check or money order in the lobby and check or money order only in the drop box located next to the front door of our office building. DO NOT LEAVE CASH IN THE DROP BOX. We urge all of our customers if possible to pay by mail, by phone, make an electronic payment or leave your payment in the drop box. If you need to pay by credit or debit card, please click BILL PAY above and follow the prompts. You will need your 9 digit account number and the first three letters of the last name on the account. There is a service fee when making a payment through our website. You will be able to view your invoices by clicking the option to the far right of each invoice listed. You can also pay by phone. Again, there is a service fee when making a payment by phone. We also accept Paypal and Venmo. Same fees apply as making an electronic payment.
We have resumed entering customers’ homes. Measures have been taken to ensure the safety of our employees as well as our customers. Our employees are wearing masks when entering a customer’s home. We do not require the customer to sign any paperwork to avoid direct contact with the customer. We will continue to monitor this situation and make changes as deemed necessary by the local and federal authorities. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our office at 732-946-9333 Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
