GORDON’S CORNER WATER WILL TRANSITION TO NEW JERSEY AMERICAN WATER ownership as per the approval by the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities. After the sale is finalized sometime over the next 2 weeks, New Jersey American Water will send a welcome packet with helpful information about their online customer portal (MyWater), billing and payment options, customer assistance programs, emergency alerts and reporting options, customer service center and more. For more information about the transition, read New Jersey American Water’s press release about the agreement announced in October 2025. Keep an eye out for the postcard mailed to all customers with further information regarding the transition (click here for postcard front & back). NJ Board of Public Utilities would like to encourage residents struggling to pay their utility bills to apply for assistance by visiting their website www.nj.gov/bpu/assistance/programs. Here you will be able to apply for assistance programs offered through the State of NJ. If you do not have access to a computer, you can reach the BPU by dialing 800-624-0241.
